Assist with Pilot Testing

An important component of the development process is the pilot testing of newly developed or redeveloped test questions. Pilot tests are being conducted now through August 2008 for FTCE development.

For each computer-based pilot test form completed, a participant will receive a check for $50 and will provide a valuable service to the teaching profession by assisting the DOE with item validation.

Teacher education students and certified educators or degree holders in the subject area of the pilot test are encouraged to participate.

You can help by sharing this information with faculty, teacher education students, degree holders, and newly certified educators in the subject areas of the pilot test.

For more information please go to http://www.fl.nesinc.com/ and select "Participate in Pilot Testing."

Please contact the FTCE program office with any questions at (413) 256-2893.
