Competencies and Skills Validation Survey
The Department is seeking educator feedback on the draft competencies and skills for the four Prekindergarten/Primary PK-3 subtests developed by committees of statewide subject matter experts 2011–2012. Educators are asked to provide demographic information, followed by their ratings of the draft competencies, skills, and test blueprint. Specifically, the Florida Department of Education is seeking educators’ feedback on the appropriateness of the draft competencies, skills, and test blueprint to the beginning effective teacher candidate (BETC). The competencies and skills validation survey examines the relationship of the competencies and skills to the job of a beginning effective teacher candidate.
